JOB TITLE: Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Engineer (QHSE)

LOCATION: Pyropress, Plympton (Plymouth, UK)
SALARY: Up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Engineer (QHSE) to join our Operations team. This role will be responsible for leading QHSE activities to meet the business objectives. This includes direct leadership of ISO9001 and ISO14001 activities and accreditations to ensure products, services and internal processes meet contractual and legal obligations.
It is essential that you have a HND or equivalent level in electrical and/or mechanical engineering. Experience in European Directives and routes to compliance, together with knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, safety standards and ISO standards are essential. You will also be experienced in leading continuous improvement and change management programmes.
Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams and departments together with strong IT skills including Microsoft Office is required. You will also have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.

We offer a basic salary of up to £45,000 (dependent on experience) and a working week of 4 ½ days (38.25 hours per week).
