JOB TITLE: Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to the Technical and Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design and maintenance of small electro-mechanical devices and associated equipment in the Hazardous Area industry.
To be successful in this job, you should have effective technical skills (e.g., 2D and 3D CAD) and ideally a degree in a relevant subject (e.g., mechanical, automotive, aeronautical or manufacturing engineering) or appropriate equivalent work experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines as well as a flexible and proactive approach are also required.
Knowledge of Hazardous Area or experience of working in a highly regulated industry would be advantageous but not essential.
