Pyropress has introduced a new M12 connector in both stainless steel and engineering polymer bodied versions of the Argus range of intrinsically safe switches.
“We have a weatherproof screw connector fitting for simple safe and reliable connection,” says Stephen Burns, Managing Director for Pyropress Limited. “This is available for the entire Argus range of pressure, temperature, differential pressure, level and flow switches.”
Manufactured by Pyropress, the intrinsically safe switches are available with Exia ATEX / IECEx certification for hazardous area applications. There is also an industrial version enabling one range of switches to be used for all applications.
The Argus range is available with a corrosive resistant robust PPS (engineering polymer) case or 316 stainless steel cast, both possessing a versatile rating of IP66/IP67. They can be used for ambient temperatures between -40degC and +85degC.
